At Safe Trade Services, your privacy is our core priority. We built this platform to protect users from fraud while ensuring that personal data is handled with the highest level of security and transparency.

1. Verification Technology

Safe Trade Services utilizes the technology of didit.me to perform all identity verification services. When a user clicks a verification link, the processing of government-issued IDs, biometric face matching, and liveness checks is handled directly by Didit's secure infrastructure.

Note: By using this service, you acknowledge that the processing of identity documents is subject to Didit’s own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Safe Trade Services is an independent interface for these verified protocols.



2. Data We Do Not Store

Safe Trade Services does not store identification data on our servers. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Images or scans of government-issued ID cards, passports, residence permits, or licenses.
  • Biometric data, selfies, or liveness video recordings.
  • Full extraction of document data (such as ID numbers or birth dates).
  • Physical Proof of Address documents.

All such sensitive information is processed by our verification partner and is never written to Safe Trade Services databases.



3. Limited Data Retention

The only personal identifier we store is your legal name and email address. This is used solely for the purpose of delivering verification results and managing transaction records.

Retention Period: To facilitate dispute resolution and customer support, email addresses and session logs are stored for 30 days. After this period, personal identifiers are automatically and permanently purged from our active records.



4. Information Collected Automatically

To prevent fraud and ensure the integrity of the verification process, we capture certain technical data during the session:

  • IP Analysis: We analyze IP addresses to detect VPN usage and geographic location mismatches.
  • Device Metadata: Information about the device type and browser version to detect spoofing attempts.


5. Third-Party Sharing & Compliance

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Data is only shared with didit.me (verification processor) and our payment processors to complete your transaction.

Legal Compliance: We may disclose limited held information (emails/IP logs) if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).



6. User Consent

Purchasers of verification links confirm they have a legitimate reason to request verification. Recipients of links must voluntarily consent to the verification process by clicking the link and following the on-screen instructions. Results shared with the purchaser are limited to the Legal Name and Verification Status of the recipient.



7. Your Rights

You have the right to request the deletion of your email address from our temporary storage. Since we do not store identification documents, we cannot provide copies of such documents or delete them from our servers as they do not exist within our system.
